This is monumental. This blend of genres is so unique to me, and her voice is like silk perfection. This is so impressive that I'm still speechless.

The opening track was promising but unfortunately the rest of the album was pretty mid.

It's pretty solid all the way through, though any album this long is at risk of feeling excessive. The Beatles - Please Please Me

Their debut album is decent. There are a few really good tracks on here, like the opener and title track, but the numerous covers hold the album back a bit. It's clear early on that their originals are usually better than their covers. Luckily, covers stopped after a few albums. Some of the performances are rough around the edges, but that's arguably part of what makes it fun and genuine. It's both easy and hard to believe that this album was recorded in one day.
