What do you expect? Heavy guitar tone? Guttural vocals? Blast beats?
Well it's all here, a great mixture of technicality and brutality
Open the book of death metal and add a new chapter...
The chapter of brutality
It's brutal, it's heavy, it's Suffocation
Necrosis changed its name to Cryptopsy and a whole new era arrived...
It's extreme, it's death metal, it's Cryptopsy.
What can I say? It's technical, it's brutal, it's Cryptopsy
Ok ok ok, so let me get something straight, I'm not a huge deathcore fan and as you can guess, this is not the record for me.
What can I say about it? A mistake, a failed attempt at creativity, a bitter disappointment, and a joke.
The return of the Lord Worm, but was it worth it?
I remember listening to it for the first time and I was amazed, but the more I listened to it the more I could feel that there's no return for the Canadian kings of brutal death metal
The downfall of Cryptopsy...
What needs to be said?
Not bad musically but the terrible vocals ruined it for me
Lord Worm exits and here comes Mike DiSalvo
Perhaps the last Cryptopsy's perfect album
Cryptopsy has always been a chaotic and uncontrollable and this record is no exception
My second favourite album featuring the almighty Lord Worm on vocals
This is why I love Cryptops: Nonstop wall of guitars, crazy drumming, guttural vocals and a touch of Suffocation
It took some time for it to grew on me, but when I really felt how brutal and technical it is there was no turning back
One my favourite release by any death metal band
