JACKBOYS is an entertaining, moody showcase for Travis Scott’s label crew compact and sonically cohesive in moments, but too thin to stay memorable as a full body of work.
JACKBOYS 2 ends up as a moderately disappointing sequel: high in ambition and glossy in parts, but low in consistency and impact. For fans of Travis Scott’s style or of the JACKBOYS artists, there are moments worth hearing. But as a full project, it fails to deliver a compelling or memorable narrative.
