Pretty good album. Great vocals with equally good production, however it is pretty short
A great album that showcases healing & emotional recovery. Navy Blue shows some of the most profound and introspective lyrics that I have listened to, and the production on this album feels somewhat spiritual as well. This album's sequencing also feels like a journey of Navy's emotional recovery & growth, and this album is almost perfect for reflecting, and growing as a person. This album gives off a pretty warm atmosphere at most, and it gives off a sorta nostalgic vibe to it aswell. This album also has benefitted from the great features like Caroline Polachek & Samantha Urbani. However, I believe this album is carried too much by these features. Khamari is slowly becoming my favorite R&B artist. His voice is beautiful, the production on here is near flawless, and it just shows the potential Khamari has.
It's decent but it does stall a little in the middle of the album
Even though this is Vince's debut, it is, in my opinion, his best album to date. It's a dark, hardcore and eerie album, painting the portrait of the atmosphere that he lived in Long Beach. The production and storytelling in this album is amazing, and it is definitely one of the defining Hip-Hop albums of the 2010's. Though there are a few misses
