Deftones - Ohms
90

Deftones’s Ohms is a gorgeously anthemic album packed with irresistible riffs and hooks with the band sounding like they’re having a load of fun and Chino sounding arguably better than ever.
My favorite tracks are: Headless, Genesis, Ohms and Urantia

Set It Off - Cinematics
80

Set It Off’s debut Cinematics is a well performed and arranged bombastically theatrical pop punk album packed with (for the most part) broadway ready bangers even if some of the lyrics are overly melodramatic and there’s a track around the midpoint which doesn’t sound like it should be on the album.
My favorite tracks are: I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Plastic Promises and I’d Rather Drown

PJ Harvey - Rid of Me
80

PJ Harvey’s Rod of Me is a grungy punkish album showcasing the singer-songwriter’s talents on full force with volatile and potent bangers.
My favorite tracks are: Me Jane, Man-Sized and Rid of Me

White Lies - To Lose My Life...
80

White Lies’s debut To Lose My Life is a well performed post-punk and goth rock tinged debut album with well produced and written bangers although a couple tracks miss for me.
My favorite tracks are: E.S.T, Fairwell to the Fairground and Nothing To Give

Deftones - Diamond Eyes
80

Deftones’s Diamond Eyes showcases the bands unique, expansive and anthemic style whilst being lightly experimental and destructively heavy in places, a couple of times in the same song, however a couple tracks in the second half kind of run into another.
My favorite tracks are: Youve Seen The Butcher, Sextapes and CMND/CNTRL
