Private Function - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
81

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is the last and final PF album after the announcement of their breakup in 2025. In the most private function style they decided to go out with a bang. The raw energetic sound is still present with a set of four tracks that go for less than 15 seconds each, which adds another layer of humour to an already funny band. The continuation of the great cover songs is back with S.O.S becoming one of my favourite covers they've done. Overall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is a great ... read more

Private Function - 370HSSV 0773H
74

370HSSV 0773H Is a great listen with the middle of the album I found having the best songs. The vibes as always with PF were spot on and classic. Although the streak of great covers didn’t continue with their cover of coldplays yellow it still gets extra points for the fact that the vinyl cover was an actual scratchie and the disc was full of the bands piss!
Fav tracks:
1. General Mr. Meaner
2. One headed dog
3. Seize & destroy

Private Function - Whose Line Is It Anyway?
70

Whose line is it anyway? is a overall good album from PF. The vibes are spot on with it being exiting all the way through although it just falls short to their debut album St. Anger. due to a lack of variety in songs. There are great songs on this album but there is a fair few that bring the rating down due to their lacking qualities that are present in other songs.
Fav Tracks:
1. Albury Wodonga
2. Sleep Paralysis
3. Stop Liking What I Don't Like

Private Function - St. Anger
75

Private functions debut album 'St. anger' is miles above their first two releases which were EPs. With their style of music staying conistant with the first two EPs it keeps the raw, energetic and chaotic energy that PF's fanbase is built around. The sound of the album reminds me of a Aussie version of Misfits, especially due to the lead vocals by Chris Penney. All around this is a good punk rock album that keeps the energy going.
Fav Tracks:
1. King of the mountain
2. Marco ... read more

Beddy Rays - Do What Ya Wanna
68

Although this album and some songs are quite sentimental there is a lot that isn't good about this album. Overall its a very average album in general and in comparison to their self titled debut which contained three additional tracks. The mid card is where the quality really drops off with the songs being quite forgettable before picking back up towards the end. With all considered it still is a fun listen but its not their best work.
Fav Tracks:
1. A Million Times
2. Stay the Same
3. Red ... read more

Beddy Rays - Beddy Rays
79

Beddy Rays self titled debut album goes off right from the start with wait a while being a great opening track. The whole album stays consistent with great songs only being broken by a couple mediocre throw-ins. Overall its an great debut album, really showing where the band was headed going into their second album.
Fav Tracks:
1. Sobercoaster
2. Wait a While
3. Good With Bad

Beddy Rays - Lost Found Beat Around
68

Lost, Found Beat Around is a decent EP and establishes the style of music that Beddy Rays is loved for. The vibes are amazing although some songs lose interest quite fast, but for a debut EP its great.
Fav Tracks:
1. Fool Around

Dune Rats - OLD MATES
72

Old Mates is a great album made up of old Dune rats songs featured on their first 3 EPs plus some rerecorded and a new song. Celebrating the journey that created the band they are today over 15 years. Old mates brings back the fun and nostalgic energy of classic dunies.
Fav Tracks:
1. Sharks
2. Red Light Green Light
3. Fuck It!

Dune Rats - Dune Rats
56

Dune rats self-titled debut album is a very average album. The themes that built the dunies legacy are present but a lot of the features that make their newer albums so good are lacking. Later in the album is where the iconic dunies sound starts to form which i love but most tracks in the album itself are not memorable at all.
Fav Tracks:
1. ET
2. Drugs

Dune Rats - Real Rare Whale
67

Real rare whale is very average album with most songs not really being very interesting. As much as it stays consistent to the dune rats brand of using drugs, getting drunk and having a good time, the songs don't have much character compared to their other albums.
Fav Tracks:
1. UP
2. What a memorable night

Dune Rats - If It Sucks, Turn It Up
71

If it sucks, Turn it up is a good album from Dunies but still quite average. The middle of the album got a bit boring and repetitive. It's not their worst album and not their best album either.
Fav Tracks:
1. Solar Eyes
2. Rich Kid Rehab

Dune Rats - Hurry Up and Wait
74

Dunies really excelled with this album keeping the feel consistent throughout all the tracks, which i love. Defiantly has its stand out songs which make a few get forgotten about.
Fav Tracks;
1. No plans
2. Rock Bottom
3.The skids

Dune Rats - The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit
73

The kids will know its bullshit was my debut album to dune rats and made me fall in love with the band. I don't think its the dunies best album but definitely my personal fav.
Fav Tracks:
1. 6 Pack
2. Never gonna get high
3. Bullshit

Private Function - Rock In Roll
57

Rock in roll is private functions 2nd EP release and it is personally miles above their first. The EP has a lot more memorable songs such as I wish Australia..., No hat no play and their cover of fox on the run by sweet. Definitely the EP that got me into private function. PF STILL ON TOP!

Fav Tracks:
1. Fox on the run
2. No hat no play
3. I wish Australia had its guns again.

Private Function - Six Smokin' Songs
48

Private Function's debut EP 'Six Smokin songs' really shows the direction the band was going, but this ep is not great. No stand out songs or anything special. The band got better by their second EP release but this EP isn't a good example of their best.

Fav Tracks:
1. Burn my Boots

Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
87

Never mind the bollocks here's the sex pistols is probably one of my top 5 albums. Its great all the way through and has the early punk rock rebellion written all over it. The sex pistols are in my opinion the greatest early punk rock bands to come out of the UK with the clash coming at a close 2nd or 3rd. Although around the mid card and ending some songs ended up sounding quite similar but they still had their own feel. I would 100% recommend this album to anyone who is interested in ... read more

Come clean is an iconic post-grunge album from the early 2000s. Off the back of nirvana and pearl jam in the 90s Puddle of Mudd's come clean was perfect for its time. songs are punchy and has the most iconic track on the record, 'SHE HATES ME' which is their biggest hit. Although the album started off strong i began to lose interest towards the end due to the tracks sounding extremely similar to one and other. But the album as a whole i would have to say its just above ... read more

Loose Lips - Loose Lips
34

Loose lips self titled LP is a okay debut of the band. The songs don’t feel the exact same which is a problem with a lot of newer bands. The songs themselves don't really stand out too much to me.
Fav tracks:
One more chance

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
91

Definitely a must hear album. It’s not pink Floyd’s greatest album but definitely one to remember. A lot of great songs that flow into each other quite smoothly. But the influence on the music industry is not something to be understated.

The Beatles - Rubber Soul
86

My favorite Beatles album, classic Beatles sound before all the experimental psychedelic stuff. Timeless songs and a timeless album.
