DENZEL CURRY DISCOGRAPHY DIVE FINALE: 100th REVIEW AND 50 FOLLOWERS SPECIAL
We have reached the conclusion of the discography dive (I’m not including KOTMS2 since I have already reviewed it). This also marks my 100th review and me reaching 50 followers (close enough). I know I’m not the best reviewer out there, but I thank everyone who has enjoyed my reviews. Originally, I tried to really go in deep with this review; however, due to various factors I determined I do not have enough ... read more
I did not expect this to be this good. As much as I love Earl Sweatshirt a small complaint I have about him is that he doesn't really work on more energetic songs, like that one BNYX song that came out earlier this year. MAVI has a similar style to Earl but he has a lot more energy which is where this mixtape shines. I can’t say MAVI is better than Earl yet but this mixtape is a nice taste of what he has to offer. I am definitely checking out the rest of his work.

Always love a nice, fun dance album but this could've been something phenomenal if everything was good as it's peaks.
Favorite tracks: 10%, Need It
Basically if When the Pawn was mostly just the piano ballads but none of them really reached the emotional impact of When the Pawn. Still, this is an incredible and heartfelt album; I'm excited to listen to the rest of Fiona Apple's discography.
Favorite tracks: Shadowboxer, Criminal
Don't see myself listening to this one a lot because the production is pretty sparse in favor of lyrics but those lyrics are so fucking good I can't bring myself to not rate this highly. Genuinely might be one of the best written albums of the decade, still can't rap my head around it. If you appreciate good lyricism this is a must listen but I must warn you aside from a few tracks this is not an album to jam or vibe out to.
Favorite tracks: Fairchild, The Boy Who Played the Harp
The first song genuinely had me thinking this was gonna be a more soulful jazz type album but nope. I'm not complaining though, this one of the most beautiful and heartfelt albums I have ever heard, even if some of it doesn't really focus on that "beautiful" sound. On top of that, it's pretty damn consistent even for a perfect album this is the hardest it's been to choose one favorite song. Anyways great album yatta yatta I'm not good with ... read more
