Even disregarding the whole 6 7 thing, the song is still pretty wack. His flow is just not good.
Goth Luv feels like a combination of the 700 Dagreez sound and the Witchhouse sound he previously used, but without either sound being fully developed and somewhat lacking compared to what came before and after. That's not to say this is a bad album, by any means. The production, for the most part, is phenomenal. Tracks, "Flip Phone Same Color Lean", "G Wagon Whoadae", and "7 Tearz 7 Doves 7 Blunts" are by far the highlights of this album. The middle of the ... read more
Magic, Alive! is one of the most jazzy and soulful hip-hop releases of the decade. Starting with the production, I'm not sure who Sam Yamaha is, but they kill it with production. They also lean for more of an EDM sound, especially on highlight tracks Speakers Never Learn and Fenty Face. Sometimes they do lose their interesting voice for a more "Carti" ... read more
Epistolares goes from batshit crazy to gorgeous while staying cohesive and it is truly impressive.
This is the only time anyone will ever hear "straight up" record scratched over a dance beat.
