there's something there, but i just can't reach it. i really love some of these, like country, find me, or now the water, but it's a blur of an album. 'pool' is still my favourite thing from porches.

one of my favourite albums of all time. i adore the darkness and depth of this one, and it hits hard; depression, internalised homophobia, isolation, but done extremely well, and explained so it can be felt in the most realistic light.

favs: animal, what a heavenly way to die, my my my!
this album makes me feel extremely proud to be gay, somehow. and that's really important and moving to me. the songs are well-done, some are holy in a way, and i feel happy & at home. trove's not a cringeworthy youtuber-tween-singer to me anymore, because this was something.
