Olivia Rodrigos debut falls short of any standards set by her single releases:
You’ve already seen the big “40” next to this review so I’ll get straight to the point. Olivia Rodrigo falls short of any standards set by her previous single releases due to mediocre songwriting and a painful amount of repetitive sounding songs.
If anything, I think I’m being slightly generous with a score of 40 but Olivias vocals just about save this review from dipping to a 30.
Madvillainy is one of the greatest ever hip hop albums, period. I highly doubt we will ever see such amazing chemistry between a producer and rapper.
