I don't know much about this type of metal, but I liked this one. Sometimes feels overly performative and corny (title track), but generally good production, riffs and aesthetic. I'm maybe not too big on Nergal's vocals though.
But for first Behemoth album I listened to, I gotta say not bad.
I liked it, this is surely his best work at least since Her Loss. It's not bad which is already more than most Drake's output from recent years. Solid rapping on here, consistent sound. Sure some lyrics are corny, but compare that to FATD. Too many beatswitches on here I guess. Still solid though.
Best: Make them cry, Whisper my name, National Treasures, B's on the table, 2 hard 4 the radio
Worst: Dust, Little Birdie, Don't Worry
Coming into this without big expectations, I am a bit relieved that this album isn't as unlikeable as Vultures. It feels like a trip throughout Kanye's discography, which I personally like. It is a decent listening experience, with sounds consistently changing throughout the tracklist and smooth transitions between songs. However 18 tracks, most of which are about 2 minutes long makes most of the songs forgettable. My main takeaways are Father, All the love and Damn. Overall I hope ... read more
I didn't like this just as much as other people seem to, but perhaps in 2015 it had this extra kick to it. It's raw, high energy, evil sounding at points. It really seemed like that milestone for Future, where he rapidly improved. Not my favourite Future project, as it has a few skips, but it is still up there.
Best: Monster, After That, My Savages, Fetti, Hardly, Codeine Crazy
Worst: Radical, Wesley Presley, Showed Up
Surprisingly , it is my favourite Future mixtape so far. Short, straight to the point and bumps so hard. Aintchu and Just Like Bruddas are a bit off-beat but they are also bangers. Consistent, beautiful production, slick flows, high energy. Goodness all throughout.
