The worst feeling is finding a band after they’ve effectively stopped making music and you realize you’re never getting new stuff, this is exactly how I feel about Title Fight
Also the album is really fucking good
This was genuinely the most hopeless I’ve ever felt listening to an album
remnants of good in there but most of these songs make me wanna put my head through a wall
This is the Portugal. The Man of album names but the difference is PTM can make good music
an album to turn your brain off to, much like most of mumford’s output post-babel. not horrible, but wouldn’t call it good either.
occasionally alright but often it feels like too little and too much at the same time
overhated by a lot of people, but still not really good. haunt you everyday is one of their best works to date though.
EDIT: revisiting this album. i was not wrong, this album’s good but way overhyped looking back. the singles slap but not much else to enjoy
first song is literally the only one that i can say has redeeming qualities, everything else is unlistenable trash
sometimes i wonder how people say that MGMT’s Oracular Spectacular is held up by the big singles, that definition is just this album
