i get the album is called evolve but that doesn’t mean they had to evolve from making decent pop rock to shitty pop rock

say what you want about coldplay post-viva, this album is incredible

this album is like a plain hamburger, tasty but i’m not getting much out of it

yup.. this is definitely an ed sheeran album. i do appreciate that he’s exploring new musical styles and ideas, just wish he would do more with them.

pretty strong start, ho hum rest of the album. the singles really tricked me into thinking this would be another smash from kevin but i was left mostly disappointed.

just such an incredibly boring album to sit through. the title track is pretty good. too bad they couldn’t put that into any of the other tracks.

coming back to this album, theres a few standout tracks but overall it feels super derivative of other artists, especially hozier.

a fairly calming listen and that’s the perfect kind of vibe for autumn. far and away their best album.

first four songs are pretty good. everything else is pretty boring and samey.
