This is probably my favorite album that Cameron Winter has been involved with. My friend Audrey recommended this album to me alongside two other recommendations one night in her car. The circumstances surrounding these recommendations were very depressing, as if she planned on these recommendations being the last three she'd ever give to me. I listened to Heavy Metal with that weight attached. This was before Getting Killed, and before I even knew that Winter was the front man of Geese, so ... read more
This was one of the ~five albums that got me through high school. Back in my senior year, I would play this album in order to sleep through as many of my classes as I could, as I could not stand the amount of downtime that I got. Depression Cherry is so relaxing, and it loops fairly well. Each of the tracks are distinct, and PPP is one of the best songs of all time.
I recently listened to this album again on a 15 hour car ride from Colorado to Texas done in one day. My friend and I put this ... read more

I also think that these two types of Geese fans are sort of the same person. Geese as a band is ... read more
I was introduced to Thank You Scientist during my freshman year of high school through marching band. Our marching show opener was an adaptation of A Wolf in Cheap Clothing. The marching chart was absolutely obnoxious, like literally there was one dot I had to hit that was so uncomfortable that I think it ruined the entire experience of marching band for me. The music was very good though! I can still visualize the first movement of our show while listening to that song.
Back when I was in ... read more
