Found this album on Spotify and immediately fell in love with it! I hadn’t been following oklou before this so I was going in blind with no knowledge of the singles or her previous work.
It’s reminiscent of that dreamy, late 90s / early 2000s Europop that I grew up on. It’s incredibly atmospheric and almost new age, with clean production and a glossy glaze over every track. I find it aquatic in a way, with some songs like ‘thank you for recording’ evoking images ... read more
This song doesn’t feel its length at all, the eight minutes just completely melt away the second you hit ‘play’! It’s a soothing, dreamy track that evokes an image of laying in a field during a blissful summer’s day, sleepy and content. Pure serenity.
The production is filled with a hazy warmth, complimented with layered harmonies that perfectly support the soft and emotive performance from Hayden. It meanders in the most enjoyable way, leisurely strolling its way ... read more

There’s so many moments in this I absolutely love. The opening organ on ‘Another ... read more
I really enjoyed this album! It’s bright, warm, ethereal fantasy-pop that evokes images of sunlight-dotted forests and babbling brooks.
The first half (or so) of this album is much stronger than the second, in my opinion. ‘Water Bearer’, ‘Songs of Quendi’, ‘Mirrors’, and ‘Weaver’ are all captivating little epics in themselves. ‘Water Bearer’ is the standout for me — it’s instantly captivating and submerges you deep ... read more
