Beyond revolutionary, beyond time, beyond every aspect of what makes an instrumental album, this is a must hear beyond anybody's comprehension imo. This man was someone from the future that was taken too soon in the past, and there's no way you can make me think otherwise.
J Dilla, was, in fact - and still is - one of the greatest producers to EVER touch hip-hop, and one of the top in music as a whole. The creativity, the style that no one else could even try to replicate, it's ... read more
This album almost like the sister album of Tribe's Low End Theory to me. This album just feels like it wit how close it feels like it.

I don't have much to say in terms of how (kinda) disappointing this is now that I've heard it. Almost so half assed that it makes my face scrunch up in disgust.
Kanye is there I guess, and really, I wanna see the Ye shit be better, but both of them aren't even there anymore, making a little bit of amalgamation of both of them, with the passion in hell basically. He sounds tired, soulless, ready to throw in the towel, and that's not who WE (yes, WE) know him as.
Sad to see ... read more
