I remember first hearing this song back in the day, It's nice, but I don't really listen to it anymore. That doesn't make it a bad song, taste just changes over time
You might be asking yourself, "Caleb, why do you have this liked and saved when you're rating it a 69?" It's a bit complicated to answer, but to put it simply, It's mostly because the songs are GOOD, like really good. However, it ticks me off so much that Joji thinks that "short songs are the future" when a lot of the best songs in human history have all have been at least super long. Some songs even barely pass the 1 minute mark and it ticks me off so much. I ... read more
Really great demos that sadly will never be finished. I'm happy that we got these versions though as they're all still really good
Another really great album from Laura!!! While I honestly still prefer "for the rest of your life" under her "twikipedia" alias, this album is still really good and was the album for me to truly cement her as one of my favorites. The vocals are a lot more raw and the instrumentals are as well. This album reallty shows Laura's growth as an artist and I'm really happy to experience it with everyone else.
Tell me you're a content farm without telling me you're a content farm.
[+5 pity points because GameBoyJones is actually really good and it's sad seeing him make slop like this]
I love CG5, but I honestly think this song would've been better as a solo song. Glitch Whisper kinda ruins it for me, I can't lie. I've never really liked their music so they DEFINITELY put a stain on what could've been a really good song

I was genuinely just bullshittin' with these reviews, hot damn. Anyways, this is essentially CG5's "Greatest Hits" compilation album. Most of them are hits while others are deep cuts. These songs all range from 2017-2019 with "Love Isn't Fair" being the one most recently released (I think, I need to double check), but regardless, these songs are what made CG5 CG5 in the first place. Some of these songs still hold up even almost ... read more
What a great debut album from femtanyl! They are essentially the reverse of the "Tame Impala is just one guy" bit because I just recently found out that this is a DUO and not just one person. The work Noelle and Juno did on this album is so clear and precise. My personal favorite song off the album is the 2nd single "HEAD UP" but huge shoutout to "VIDEO NASTY" for sampling Michael Jackson during the "Victory" Tour. I pre-ordered the CD and it should be ... read more
Despite not being as polished as its sucessor "for the rest of your life", there is still something to enjoy about "chronic" that you may not realize. The upbeat songs in the first half really show of Laura's fun side and flexes on things she obviously doesn't have lol. But then the 2nd half shows off songs that are an obvious blueprint to what she would create 2 years later. Songs like "deprazer", "it's not what i have", "picture ... read more
Despite popular opinion, I actually REALLY like this album. I love the modern sound being complimented by Michael's smooth singing. This was the album that got me into MJ, so thank you for that :3

Nothing really changed on the re-listen, but it definitely was nice to re-visit this project. Laura has grown a lot since her Roblox days and seeing this kind of improvement is genuinely inspiring. Crazy that the same girl who made "fuck bighead" would have me crying in the corner of my room comtemplating life because "seams" is such a beautiful song, I genuinely don't know why it hasn't dethroned "it's not what i ... read more
This album saved my life and I'm not even exaggerating when I say that. Every song on here is genuinely so beautiful and perfect, nothing can over top this.

Ahh, the infamous CG5 FNF mod. If I remember correctly, this was actually the first time a mod had actual lyrics to their songs instead of just only the usual chromatics, so it was DEFINITELY ahead of its time. Now onto the actual music, I honestly liked it. Aside from the tutorial remix that's just stuck in 2021 (Charlie's adlibs kinda ruin it, especially the "Poggers" one), all the songs still hold up after all this time. Now, the elephant ... read more

Holy peak bro, This EP just gets better every single listen and I'm not even exaggerating when I say that. Every song has so unique and has amazing call backs to 80s music, even going as far to reference Michael Jackson for the album cover (both of my goats omg 🥺). The short film that goes along with the EP is also really good too. I never realized how dark Project U MOVE was until earlier today. The idea of your clone being inflicted pain and they feel ... read more

Decided to look back on this album properly, and I genuinely forgot how SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUSLY GOOD this album was!! It's still not perfect though, as "Aren't We" is still a pretty weak track imo. Will sounds AMAZING on "Leave Me Behind", but it honestly feels a little unnecessary for him to be here. Not to say it's bad, I just personally see it as the "And Bumblebee!!" moment of the album. But still, I really enjoyed ... read more
An amazing sophomore album in my opinion! My only complaint would be that we gotten so used to making short songs that we don't let the long ones breathe. All the songs are amazing though, but I do wish there was more to offer. Still a great album and I WILL be looping it!
