At the start of the year, I randomly stumbled upon Tokyo Shoegazer on my bus home and cried to their song Felicette. That was probably my introduction to the genre and now whenever i’m bored i theory-craft my own shoegazey songs. Glad to see them return near the end of the school year.

Summer's Gone is a masterpiece, Evening Calm is also great, but the rest seem slightly forgettable
Holy shit. I mean holy shit. This album's incredible. The vocals so serene contrasted with the exploding instrumentals. And when he screams my god it hits. I turned this on to listen as I did my school project, but I had to stop that to lock in on this album. My tinnitus is fucked right now but it was worth.

I don't believe in celebrity crushes, but Ichiko Aoba's voice and guitar work is so serene and majestic i cant help but fanboy over her. She literally talks and out comes music (in MC) I'm slightly biased as the only guitar songs i know to play are from Ichiko, so you bet i kicked and screamed when I heard the starting guitars of A Hill of the Moon
