Talk about influence on a project, it appears that Denzel Curry and beat-maker Kenny Beats are inspired heavily on this project. Kenny Beats seems to take after Madlib on this album, considering all the boom-bap beats, and hearing Denzel rap over them is a dream for many. The slow rush isn't the best Impala album, however it's still remarkable to me. It isn't Currents, yet Impala expands musically on this LP from Currents. It has a very similar kind of energy, and vibe to it as an album., which is something from the album I really enjoyed. Easily, and I mean easily, the best posthumous album I've ever heard. Mac Miller's final LP was delivered perfectly, and is just as good as advertised. To start, the production is eye-opening, and truly beautiful, Jon Brion did a fantastic job finishing up the production on this album. Blue World is probably a top five song of the year for me, and Brion's production meant a lot to that track. Once again, Glover returns with more attention grabbing, unique, and overall great music. This is Gambino's most experimental LP, and despite that it still sounds phenomenal. From the sounds we hear on Algorhythm , to the beauty of 53.49, this LP is a very well-rounded, the production on this LP truly stands out from anything else Glover has put out, while some consider that bad, or dislike that kind of sound, personally I love it.
