Ethel Cain - Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You
78

The ambient atmosphere of this isn't something I'm surprised for Ethel to do but it just wasn't for me. Not to say that I don't enjoy ambient music because I do, just not something that I enjoy from Ethel per se. It was a decent listen, though I don't think I'll come back to this one.

Valeriey - chrysanthemum
90

Valeriey is honestly one of my current favorite artists. Their artistry is on another level and it’s so suprising but also sad that they don’t have a bigger following. This is definitely Valeriey’s magnum opus as of right now, it’s such a culmination of creativity, ideas, and spirituality. Valeriey seems to be extremely in touch with themselves which I see as how they were able to create such a complete and cohesive project, even though they’re not much older than ... read more

KidTokio - PASSION.
89

How does bro get better every fucking time.

Wet Leg - moisturizer
71

Enjoyable listen but nothing about it particularly stands out.

Navy Blue - The Sword & The Soaring
82

I honestly didn’t enjoy this that much on the first listen but after listening through a couple times I actually really fucking enjoy it now. The beats are are actually really exquisite on this record and I especially enjoyed the sampling. Navy flowed as he normally does on this and gets quite introspective with things such as religion, family, and really just living life. My only problem with Navy is that he has such a monotone voice and doesn’t really try to change it up in his ... read more

Knucks - A Fine African Man
70

A decent project, but I don’t enjoy it nearly as much as I do Alpha Place.

KidTokio - Dianthus
83

Honestly just an overall solid EP. Tokio's production and pen game seem to always improve with each new project and I'm totally here for it. A true come up in the making right here.

Sudan Archives - THE BPM
85

I love how Sudan Archives truly reinvents herself with each new project that she releases. There’s something magical about how she’s able to create music is so many different hemispheres of imagination and the fact that she’s SO good at it shows it’s what she’s meant to do. She’s truly capable of always putting out a work that showcases her current visions of the world and condenses it to an amazing project that’s just magic to the ears and always a ... read more

I wanna shake ass in the club to this album.

Audrey Hobert - Who's the Clown?
70

I honestly didn't think I'd like this but it was actually pretty decent. The second half is definitely the highlight of this album though.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
91

It's a great album regardless of how you think it compares to The Forever Story.

ZelooperZ - Dali Aint Dead
80

TRAPPIN AIN'T DEAD CAUSE DALI AIN'T DEAD

I've honestly never really been able to get into Zelooperz before but this project was surprisingly enjoyable to listen to. Fire beats, fire bars, just an overall fire album. Of course there are some areas that could use improvement but still pretty damn good.

Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
87

Earl might be my new inspiration. Bro just be rappin for real.

Dijon - Baby
93

Dijon never and I mean NEVER disappoints. He has such an ability to take his life and make something really special with it to that point that I can't help but become obsessed with it.

La Reezy - Pardon Me, I'm Different
75

This dude has some real passion and drive. Hope he goes places for real.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
75

Enjoyable but nothing incredible.

KidTokio - PIVOT
84

Not gonna lie, this is one of Tokio's cleanest productions out of his projects that I've listened to. It really seems like he evolves with each new project that he puts out. First Kennys Lotus, then A Green Summer, and now this. He just keeps getting better.

Annahstasia - Tether

We find ourselves tethered to many things in life whether that be relationships, people, or places. It's up to us to choose what it is that we need from these things and choose whether to sever ties with what it is that connects us to them.
