After the first notes of 'total euphoria' (that was real wtf) the record doesn't really continue to break expectations. It's just a post-rock album that was born a little bit weirder farm and bred with some avangarde influences
Production and performance are perfect though

Not as tacky as the previous one but still not good. Regarding all the cancelled tour disaster, I thought that the duo will come to sense that they need to scale down.
I hope that this is just the check of the direction as I at least was able to listen to it from start to finish, with some tracks as highlights.
I don't mind a couple of summer jams here.

A slight shift of direction from their last year's LP, now boogie is backed with the orchestra arrangements. However it doesn't bring any much of new experience to my ear because of several reasons.
First and foremost, the band itself hasn't freed up enough space for its seventh companion so sometimes I hear some nice line from strings or brasses and like to focus on it but vocals or guitar noodling takes over and makes everthying sound like a confused mess. In overall album ... read more
