This album has some awesome highs and then a lot of filler. The title track is filled with energy, and Saiko is constantly going back and forth between soft and aggressive, but after many spins of this album I don't think I remember anything from Eko, What3ver, or Tequila Coma.
Cardinal is one of those albums that you just kinda throw on every once in a while and then you realize that there's nothing else really like it that you listen to. You then proceed to only listen to Texas Sundial, Talk / Pleasure and Seven Less Functions for a couple days and then forget about it until that next "while" comes
When I first found Jane's music, Census Designated was one of my favorite albums to spin again and again and again.
