Although being one of the two Beatles post-lsd albums that doesn't have an ending that ties it all together, this album is still a masterpiece. Drive My Car is an amazing album opener and In My Life is one of the greatest songs ever written. I could say more but im lazy, just listen to the album. It will speak for itself.
You are your most critical critic, that being said...
this EP kinda sucks, I thought it was great when I made it, but it's too repetitive and long for me to be happy with it. womp womp.
Jelly maker 2: good this time.
Jam Maker is, in my opinion, a solid EP that does away with a ploon stable of albums/songs being too long and being overall mid. With it being an EP, it feels just as long as it needs to be, and the version of Warm Fuzzy Sway to end finish the EP off is peak Early Ploon.
Forgettable, It has some good songs, but it's weighed down by being just kinda boring.
Ploon's 2nd best full length album. It's a shame that we didn't continue to do the weird psuedo band stuff more because with this and Ok we were really coming into our own. Im glad that era of Ploon is over though, while the 2022 records are charming, they lacked a lot of character that we know we could bring to the table. See you in 24 with Blasting Smells ;)
I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from releasing this dog shit into the world. album cover is funny though.
Ploon's first outing, isn't an amazing one, certainly worth listening to for hardcore coneheads though. silly ass album with lots of early mothers influence, meh.
it's... okay? I think?
This record is the opposite of the previous one I was on, Grease Fable. Grease Fable was fun to record but came out like a steaming pile of dog ass. Weeby Deeby, on the other hand, was not very fun to record, not for me at least. However, It came out alright. The album was supposed to be improv metal shit but it's much more stoner rock. Personal favorite is Tractor Beam, second half of the record is best, yada yada, it's alright.
The Mothers’ best, no question. It’s weird, experimental, and it goes.
This was my first Beatles album and what really got me into them and music as a whole. I listened to this album religiously at one point and for good reason because it FUCKS. I was gonna say "First _ songs are all bangers" but then I kept going and they're all bangers wtf. A Day In the Life is one of the greatest songs of all time by the way and you can quote me on that.
