Even from the biggest Ye glazer out there, my king, what is this😭😭. Hopefully this is just a fun, little song that he wanted to get freaky to for his birthday
Production is ok, quite a different sound and it doesn't really work out well
Lyrics are abysmal, Ye even went back to spanish to count to four, since LAST BREATH
The sample is pretty bad and Ye's voice sounds fried
I pray that BULLY DELUXE comes out really well though, PLEASE YE
Kryptonite made me shed a tear🥹
On More Chaos, X Man aka Lord of Chaos aka Kenyatta Lee Frazier aka Teen X aka X5 aka Boy Barbie aka Ken Carson implements a great amount of distortion and bass, leaning even more into the rage sound
Also, Ken's vocal performance is more clear and energetic than previous projects, which really suits this LP. This LP is mostly consistent, some songs reduce the distortion and are slower, but they do stick out from the tracklist
I felt like I was listening to an actual horror movie. The environment is amazingly well made by the production, and especially the ambient interludes that are all great. The sounds created by clipping. are incredibly crisp and push forward the horrorcore style
Heaven or Las Vegas captures the pure essence of dream pop. So mindblowingly ethereal and the vocals are heavenly
April's U is a great pop album. With really fun, daceable tracks. With a 34 minute runtime, the LP is concise yet manages to display an intricate level of production and her energy is contagious
First time listening to Folk, and yeah, definitely not for me
However that doesn't stop me from being able to see the greatness of this album and admit that there are outstanding aspects of it
The concepts are amazing andconstantly evolving, and the production is quite solid, I really like how Neutral Milk Hotel used trumpets in their tracks
The vocal performance though, I'm not too keen on. The dragged out words, especially CHRIIIIIIIIST, are not that pleasant to me, and the voice ... read more
A very atmospheric and lo-fi kind of album by Devon as he improves his production and starts to confidently rap on his beats, following DREAM CAST SUMMER SONGS
A very chill, psychedelic instrumental project from Devon, great talent shown even from his technically first release
Bad sees Michael Jackson embracing his title as the King of Pop and his energy and confidence keep increasing with every release. His iconic adlbis are more present here and such great highs and consistency
Honestly, so far I've not been a fan of the slower, melodic records that MJ keeps releasing, and I just think that he should've stuck with his danceable, high energy sound that he is incredibly proficient in
A bit underwhelming all in all, but Peggy once again manages to switch it up. This time on Experimental Rap, he raps his ass off and his flow sometimes is heavenly. He just rides the beats and manages to make it all the way with flawless execution
Also, the glitchy, EDM type sound is kind of repetitive, but it still manages to make for a hard-hitting, unique listen
The tracklist is very consistent, but surprisingly not too many highs
I'd say that my favourite song is ¥ (Yen). That song ... read more
What a legendary follow up to Off The Wall. Thriller sees Michael Jackson performing much more confidentally and with a greater, more signature vocal range
The production quality as well increased, with tracks feeling more full and more memorable
I'm still not the biggest fan of his slower, melodic cuts, but from all of the ones that MJ has, The Lady in My Life is my favourite, he's singing so passionately and full of energy
Thriller is a classic album for a reason, with generational ... read more
A great album from the King of Pop, where he takes a groovy, disco approach, and I'd say it came out really well. MJ sounds quite shy and doesn't match the energy as he would in his later projects, when he gains a lot more confidence
Amazing first six tracks, but then, it takes a massive dip. In my opinion, She's Out of My Life completely put me off. Why did MJ completely, and suddenly shift the tone like that?? And with an ok slow melodic cut as well?? That last ... read more
God's Country production kicking in🔥🔥
UTOPIA is arguably Travis' most experimental album, and so it intrigues me a bit more than his other projects. That and the fact that there are quite a few of tracks that were worked on by Ye, given to Travis (THANK GOD, GOD'S COUNTRY, MODERN JAM, DELRESTO (ECHOES), and TELEKINESIS). A hard-hitting LP with pretty good features and great performances by Travis himself. MY EYES is so beautiful
A 67 user score really?? Such a psychadelic and late night album with a couple bangers
R.I.B🪦
On REST IN BASS, che turns his performance up to 100 and is really chaotic and loud on this LP. While it's different to his previous projects and mostly works out, on some tracks it misses and paired with the blaring bass, it becomes too much. However, most beats slapped and the performances overall were great
Such a HUGE step up from closed captions, production is so much better and to be honest I'm stuck between a 75 and an 80 for this album. Favourite has to be Interlude, I ascended and least is definitely My Favorite Color is Red, the crunchy vocal performance is ear piercing, although the production is fire, the only bad track on this LP in my opinion
A decent debut mixtape by che, the first half is incredibly repetitive, but the second half has more of a melody to it. Favourite is sos
The ambiance that this album creates is so ethereal, I'm so impressed. So much potential in fakemink, great cloud rap tracks. Favourtite is Celebrity Deathmatch, that vocal sample woww
Sounds like it would fit into the ILDMLFY tracklist holy shit this is beautiful
