The perfect Chili Peppers album and one of my deserted island albums. I don’t even care for the band that much but this is one of the most cohesive and creative albums I’ve heard. It has such wonderful range, there should be a track that suits most on here.

The songwriting on this album topples that of Ten, but the songs don’t have the same energy. But they are wonderful and a very enjoyable listen from back to front.

“My girlfriend asked me which one I liked better, I hope the answer won’t upset her!” Great cut which would end up on Damaged.

Ron Reyes was a great addition to the band, and this album is a skate punk classic and a must listen from the early period of the band.
