The rock heavy sound really works for me; Coast to Coast is a stand out track of his entire career. Sometimes the lyricism feels a little off compared to his other albums.
I always forget how good this album is until I listen to it in full and remember that every song on this album is one of my favorite songs ever
How can someone make a song as amazing as futile devices what the actual fuck

This album is breathtaking. It's pretty remarkable to me that it's only 32 minutes, a lot better than I thought it would be based on the singles. Picture Window and Honey Water are instant classics for me. If you're expecting Jubilee 2 you'll probably be disappointed, it's a bit more like Soft Sounds from Another Planet and Psychopomp. The songwriting here is probably the best she's ever done I was very impressed on first listen!
I hate that this is technically a compilation because it is the best thing they put out
This album is very underrated in my opinion, there are some bangers on here and Morrisey is more playful than self-pitying here (except for maybe that one track) which is a plus.
