Feeling like that gif of Chef Skinner from Ratatouille reading the letter
Unbelievably dense with quality, proving itself to be a more-than-worthy evolution of established Trip Hop conventions. You can rock out to it or float passively and it just works. Everything works. I cut my hair to this album
Needs more recognition for its insane production and Amy Lee, just Amy Lee bro. Sadly I'm not self-assured enough to enjoy Bring Me to Life unironically
Hypnotic in a way that really does channel the sensation of consuming hot steamy alfredo. A creamy, well-rounded listen without a clear weak point
It's like their only takeaway from the last album cycle was “loud = good”. If this was the best they had after allegedly recording so much, the Foos are either officially washed or they need to go do some soul searching on the coasts of Scotland
I dig the sensibilities of this album in general, though it lacks a big moment to really set it apart. Doesn’t NEED one per se but I don’t see myself coming back to this album for any reason other than to admire the dope-ass cover art
We can all agree that this man’s hog is looking sturdy. Agree to disagree on the music itself
Album description: “Hey dipshit this album is influenced by all your favorite dance music. Fuck you”
Me: *Takes a huff of the fattest cigar known to man and slowly turns to look at the camera, Dreamworks eyebrow in position*
I find this album kind of annoying in an endearing way. Like if I were having a bad day, listening to it would just piss me off more. If I’m trying to do a backflip, though, it would surely grant me the bravado to accomplish my goals
Quality all the way through, with select passages that had me biting my tongue trying not to get too emotional on public transportation. That last minute of Dead Women goes crazy + I levitated
This is gonna go crazy when it's either summer or I'm at the gym. Empowering bangers
A nagging part of me wishes this album were far riskier given how girthy it is, but it’s impressively consistent. Definitely feels like it was in the oven a while
As much as I want to stan the popster, I can’t get behind this production after having heard much better from her
An intimidating listen, but one that I’m eager to come back to after exploring some more industrial. Vocals go so hard
Don’t let the bright orange cover fool you, this is one hell of a gray listen. Perfect for when you’re going through a personal crisis
Genuinely my favorite shit ever and I am not going to try explaining myself because I WILL sound full of myself
