Okay, listen, Eva (garci) you’re a real one - but I gotta come from a place in my heart to give you honest criticism.
While this may not be on the same level as Madlib or Q-Tip, this is still decent, especially for a beginner. The tracks are short and I enjoyed the upbeat instrumentals to them but even though this is simply just a debut producer EP - I think it expands more on charm rather than overall excellence.
To put it simply, while it’s a great start for a road yet to come ... read more
Okay, listen. Usually I’m not very critical, especially on this account.. but this isn’t Cudi. You could argue that SB2H wasn’t Cudi but when you realize that Cudi poured his whole heart out into SB2H, it changes a lot. While comparing that to this, MOTM3 might as well be a generic album that isn’t really enjoyable. Act 1 is bad, act 2 is decent, act 3 is decent, act 4 is unnecessary - that is the best way I can put it.
I don’t listen to Cudi often and I’m ... read more
I’m sorry but I adore this album.
The most underrated amazing coke rap album ever.
Lil Sko’s debut, U Know tha Sko, features a tracklist full of a lot of amazing songs and features (most of the features being C-Rock).
You may actually recognize “Miss White Cocaine” from Grand Theft Auto V & Frank Ocean’s radio, BlondedRadio. Thanks to a couple of friends and BlondedRadio, I honestly found one of my favorite albums a few months ago.
Lil Sko has some of the best lyricism & concepts ever. The ... read more
The fuck is this cover
Edit: Future carried hard on this project. Production is lazy at times, Uzi can be a hassle to listen to for part of this project and personally, it’s just another bland hype project.
First rating of this album. Honestly not too different from original Stankonia. Overall, it’s not as good as the original but I’m not gonna put this on a topster since I don’t put remixes or reissues on topsters. Good job, Outkast!
The most beautiful and amazing album ever. The fact that AOTY tagged this album as “masterpiece” is such a fitting tag. Dream Pop was never my favorite genre but after a long listen of this beauty, I’ve changed my mind about Dream Pop. Fishmans are easily one of the most impressive acts out there and 98.12.28 is easily the most beautiful and impressive albums ever. Thank you, Fishmans.
Goddamn, this is the darkest shadow from Endless. If any album could yin-and-yang with Endless, it would be this album. Ghost~Pop Tape is impressive with it’s smooth production, the lyricism while terrifying due to it’s darkness. Not to mention, DeVon (aka Jpegmafia) stated that he would end his life if his music didn’t blow up. Thank the Lord that he didn’t. All I’m gonna say is that this is a near-amazing album and super impressive for the man who later in his ... read more
Redveil comes off with a great debut, Niagara. An impressive statement through abstract hip hop and experimental hip hop. Easily one of the most impressive debuts ever, tell me I’m overrating it, but the lyricism is good for a debut and the production from his home studio is easily the best home studio production I’ve heard in awhile, especially for a teen’s debut.
