Unhappy Refrain is an important project, extremely dense with detail, and simply an unforgettable listen. Astonishingly, you can notice how every single second is put to use to create such a colourful and vibrant soundscape.

Interesting switch of pace but not as extensive or memorable as I hoped it would be

I've grown to have no real feelings for this record. It's just bloated and not interesting. There are a lack of moments which catches my attention.

Cold Visions is Bladee's biggest project yet. It has such a large and talented cast who are attempting to make this record feel bigger than life, and it sort of achieves it. However, there are moments where the veil does drop showing Bladee awkwardly trying to find ways to fill such large sized shoes which makes the project feel focused more on length than quality. The quality overall is still nothing to scoff at. For me this project might need more listens to fully click with it.
