Maybe I just need a few more listens, but I wasn't really feeling it. The guitar work was definitely impressive and interesting by itself, but it could have come together to something so much nicer. The vocals and lyricism fell short for me and didn't really seem to go with the instrumentation. This is a debut however, so I'm interested to see where the band goes and how they'll develop with sound to something more fitting.

An amazing gem stuck between the massive albums that are Wish You Were Here and The Wall. The longer track lengths held this back from mainstream praise, but reserved some of Floyd's best work. This interpretation of George Orwell's Animal Farm with some creative liberties brought out some of Roger Water's best writing. Fantastic record that set the roots of experimentation to develop into Ok Computer. You can almost hear songs like Paranoid Android in the hard hitting riffs of My Iron Lung. Yet the album still holds its on unique identity.

I mean David Bowie, rockstar androgenous aliens, magnificent glam rock, what can you not like? Bowie was really something special glad he made a stop on Earth for his tour.
