undoubtedly a fantastic album. even though many consider it to be a weaker album from kendrick, it has proved to be very strong. aside from god, i have come to enjoy every track. listening to this back to back is a surreal experience. my favs from here are lust, love, pride, dna, duckworth

this album is a raw display of emotion and heartache. so many fantastic tracks on here, with my favs being a boy is a gun, new magic wand, and gone gone/thank you. this is tyler's magnum opus and one of my fav albums

we fall and panic are by far my favourite songs on this project. the rough sound of rock rap (rap rock?) and the wild production makes for a fantastic listen that I would encourage others to have a look into. over time i've moved away a bit from this project, but I still believe that it is a very solid foundation for the future of the duo

heaps of deep cuts and often overshadowed by some of kendrick's other projects. spiteful chant unfortunately isn't on spotify :/. a lot of great rapping performances such as on ronald reagan era, blow my high, and rigamortus. a great debut album and shows kendrick's potential that would be expressed in future albums

one of the best storytelling albums in hip-hop history. not a single miss on the album including the deluxe. the bonus tracks are really underrated and deserve more love. definitely an album that has only grown better and better for me over time
