this man managed to create this masterpiece while blind. every song is just as good as the last. my favs are love's in need of love today, another star, as, summer soft, isn't she lovely
for a dance album, this project does what it aims to do pretty well. it's a fun album to listen to from time to time, but the collab tracks towards the end of the album are rather weak. the part 2 improves this, as the kaytranada remix and the other songs, especially simple and como debe ser, sound like they could have been on the album instead of the collab tracks.
this album sounds like relaxing at the beach. through this album, masayoshi takanaka delivers a colourful, immersive listening experience. my favs are oh tengo suerte, tokyo regī, dreaming of the mirage island, sayonara...... fuji san
what is perhaps paak's strongest solo album dives into hip hop, neo soul, and r&b. a wide array of strong hooks and unique production makes this album a cohesive listen back to back. imo the first haf of the album is very strong and overshadows the second half (not to say that this is bad by any means). my favs are heart dont stand a chance, put me thru, am i wrong, room in here, celebrate
a good follow up to the chronic, but stands in the shadow of the stronger album. the lows of this album are just a bit lower than on the chronic. regardless of comparison to the chronic, this album does have a lot of strong tracks that have been heard by millions. my favs are the watcher, still dre, what's the difference, forgot about dre, the next episode
as controversial as some of the lyrics and skits may be, this is a classic album. overall the songs were of high quality and there weren't any outright poor songs. this album will be in my rotation for years and years. my favs are fuck wit dre day, let me ride, nuthin but a g thang, and stranded on death row
This album does have some hard songs, yet the overarching theme of utopia could be further explored on some songs. travis does attempt to do this well though, as he does use a variety of production and features. while there may be a bit to be desired, i find myself enjoying a significant amount of the album. my favs are meltdown, i know, skitzo, telekinesis, til further notice
jid doesn't hold back on thsi album. he shows his lyrical prowess and also does a bit of experimentation throughout the album. imo he does everything very well across all aspects of this project. my favs are raydar, crack sandwich, stars, money, and 2007
it was appropriate for its time, yet it still has a lot of tracks that hold up today. lots of replay value and familiar songs that many would know. my favs are fantasy, one sweet day, long ago
grentperez's prior works show that he has some potential, which is highlighted and brought to life throughout this album. overall the songs are fun to listen to, but all the songs felt a bit too similar to one another. my favs are when we were younger, old with you, silver lining, and when the day is done
a cute, fun ep that explores lovesick and daydreaming themes. it's a quick listen that is a neat start for beabadoobee and a chill listen. my favs are dance with me, eighteen, if you want to, and the way i spoke
showing an insight into his mind, we get a lot of good tracks on this album from daniel caesar. daniel caesar knows how to make mellow r&b tracks, evident throughout the albumz my favs are ocho rios, do you like me, superpowers, unstoppable
this album could bring world peace fr. after a couple of listens every song sounds so amazing in their own unique ways. my favs are get you, loose, we find love, take me away
for her first project, laufey isn't afraid to exhibit her talents, as this album proves to be a quick, yet impactful listen. my favs are magnolia, like the movies, and best friend
her newer sound still has some of the ideas that were present in sin miedo and isolation, but she uses them in new ways. i aint gonna lie the don toliver track is my least favourite on this album. aside from that it's very strong overall. my favs are worth the wait, endlessly, not too late, blue, and happy now
just because it's not an english album, doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't listen to this. very dreamy vibes from all of the songs. a mix of r&b and latin pop makes for a smooth listen. my favs are aguardiente y limon, quiero sentirme bien, telepatia.
my favourite kali album! every song has a decent amount of replay value and has great melodies and hooks. there's a lot of chill tracks, and some of the lovesick vibes seen previously on por vida. my favs are flight 22, dead to me, tomorrow, after the storm, feel like a fool
i don't see how people can be hating on this ep. i can kinda see the flaws in sycamore tree, but the hooks and the lovesick vibes are ethereal and kali demonstrates her artistic capabilities. my favs are melting, lottery, speed, loner
with cherry bomb, tyler throws a bunch of songs at the wall and looks for what sticks. this album has high highs, but some low lows. i haven't enjoyed the production and rapping on some tracks such as run, cherry bomb, and keep da o's. however, tyler does prove that he can make very strong and meaningful tracks on this album. the steps that he takes to improve and refine his sound through this album are not to be ignored and are an important part of tyler's discography. my favs ... read more
it's a wild ride into kanye's mind, and it sure as hell sounds good. the experimentation kanye did on this record paid off, as most of the songs sound insane with a clear kanye feel. my favs are on sight, new slaves, bound 2
