"I'll be alright"
I don't like drone music. Yet this album is probably the single most unique and enjoyable album i've heard, period. the mood set here is perfect, dark, yet still hopeful. the opening trio of songs are pure dread, long and spaced out production with whispers of insanity. and of course THE BUILD UP IN PUNISH. it will take away your breath and probably your will to live.

Literally, this album is keeping me alive
Sorta kinda not as bad as people say, personally I love the subdued electronic production. the album still keeps mitski's core emotional, lyric-focused style, while providing a unique take on the context that she's placed in. Has some of the best instrumental builds in Mitski's discography, including "There's Nothing Left for You", and arguably "Heat Lightning"- which disappears as soon as it's seen.
