I thought this song was great but never fully connected to it for some reason. then it got used in a comedy series for a guy hanging himself and now I like it and think it's a masterpiece
84 -> 90
Probably their most accessible album I've heard so far aside from Flood, but damn it's just such a fun record. Banger after banger.
The best songs (Reprehensible and The Edison Museum) are great, but I love TMBG albums for the wacky deep-cuts, the "Toddler Hiway"s and "Shoehorn With Teeth"s and such, and here they're just a bit too bland. Also the first version of They Got Lost I heard was the Severe Tire Damage version which got me very excited only to be let down by the album version lol
I like how the lyrics seem to be just "Let's make Mambo Number 5 again but at least 50% more respectful of women"
"If I smoke a rapper, it's gon be legit" LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Kinda funny concept to have a lyrical song be about but it's a masterpiece so I can't complain that much really
pussy can't taste that good can it. like I imagine it would taste kind of bad right
CD / vinyl release now or I'm going out like Jietong (JOKE JOKE JOKE JOKE NOT SRS)
This isn't even a bad song at all but making this a single is like the album version of suicide
Peak ass
Edit: 65 -> 50. I stand by my statement though. She Mystical on my Benson till I Boone
I would probably be okay with this if it wasn't a hit song where my only awareness of when it's playing comes from when the chorus breaks through my ears in the middle of a grocery store
(Edit: 90 -> 97. The chorus and verses are so much stickier than I originally gave credit for, and of course the bridge is amazing. My only real hangup is the Teto voice can be a tiiiny bit grating, which I'd probably be more able to ignore if I were a bigger Vocaloid guy.)
There's about 3 or 4 Vocaloid songs that I like, and all the ones before this one were covers by a human English singer. This song is the exception and might be the thing gets me more into Vocaloid (and ... read more
The best songs are really good, but a lot of the album cuts get repetitive, especially in a few choruses that are just kinda saying the titles a few times over. I wouldn't mind so much if these songs were more infrequent, however this is overall a pretty good album! The chad spider fan versus the virgin spider killer
The shirt and tie he's wearing in the music video to make a dollar sign is really really stupid but it kinda works at the same time so.
Okaycore. An album that I listened to. Engaging in the same way as a season 5 spongebob episode with jokes that occasionally make me exhale through my nose. The only moments that caught my attention were Tranz (good song), Souk Eye (pretty good song), and whenever a song used that one bwuh whuh synth that video games use whenever they're introducing a half-frog villain named Gus the Great Gloating Glumper (funny)
