While some of the tracks fell flat, Playboi Carti’s “Whole Lotta Red” was overall an enjoyable listen. Definitely one of the most overhated projects of the year. If he would’ve started the album with “Control” it would have been perceived a lot better. Don’t listen to the white boys named Nathan and just enjoy this album.
Hell of a lot better than the actual album and demo album
While Toledo’s voice and songwriting is there, the instrumentals aren’t. There must be more than blood is a really good song though. I get that every band while go through it’s different phases, but this sure is not it. This album is like mark zuckerberg. It seems like a normal person on the outside, but on the inside there’s nothing but boring electronics.
