Mandy, Indiana - URGH

Ronker - Respect the Hustle, I Won’t Be Your Dog Forever

I remember the first time that I heard Idles' Brutalism in late 2017. I love a dreamy, atmospheric rock album. Something about the world built by that layers of reverb-soaked guitars, and ethereal vocals lifts my spirits. Sunlight Echoes pulls off precisely this atmosphere that I find so enrapturing, and that's probably why I've been returning to it so much in the two weeks since it dropped. Putting on my headphones and playing this album transports me to another time in my life. Not another world, but to years gone by. it's interesting to me that ... read more
