this album had like 10 songs that made me audibly groan. Most of them multiple times. This is an all-time low for Drake, which after $$$4U and Honestly Nervermind I didn't even think it was possible.

This is more of an EP than a full on album so I won't be going as hard, but man it was disapointing. This album an't decide if it wants to be a solo Denzel album or a group album, leaving it in a middle kinda-solo but kinda-group project. Usually, when I put standards so high for an album, it usually ends up kind of disappointing me, so I tried lowering them a little bit, but the roll-out was so great for this I couldn't help myself. This should go in history as the most average album of all time. This is quite literaly the median of all rap albums ever made. In fact, it feels like the term "mid" was made specifically for this album. Perfect 5/10. What the fuck is Mr Recoup???????

To be honest, I've never really been into UK rap or any rap outside of the US sphere, but the critics and users were gassing this album up so there had to be something of value in it... So I only really know Dave from a couple of his tracks on Psychodrama and his collab with Central Cee, so this album was actually a huge surprise for me, it's amazing.

But the album as a whole is just OK. None of the songs (except for the one with Kodak Black) are offensive, but few songs are actually great (only DKTP, December 31st and Twitch are actual standouts).

Honestly... This is embarrasing. 21 songs and yet i finished it without feeling nothing on it. Doesn't mean this album does not have bangers, but they're far and in between and they always come with a feature. Even the good solo songs are ruined by a weird gimmick he adds, like the hard r's in ninja or the AI vocals on Miss My Dogs.
