Drake - ICEMAN

Looks like the Mona Lisa compared with the other two

Drake - HABIBTI

Even sleepier than $$$4U

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
12

this album had like 10 songs that made me audibly groan. Most of them multiple times. This is an all-time low for Drake, which after $$$4U and Honestly Nervermind I didn't even think it was possible.

Kanye West - BULLY
NR

I really like the direction of this album even if it is unfiinished. Get rid of the remaining AI and I'll write a full review

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
66

This is more of an EP than a full on album so I won't be going as hard, but man it was disapointing. This album an't decide if it wants to be a solo Denzel album or a group album, leaving it in a middle kinda-solo but kinda-group project. The songs themselves are good until song 6 or so where the quality dips for those last three songs, which for a 8-songer is kinda Disapointing. The three singles are the best songs by far, even if I did enjoy Hoopty and Phony quite a bit, but even ... read more

Baby Keem - Ca$ino
78

So, after 5 long years with no album (4 counting the deluxe), Keem is back with his most personal album up to date. While this album does have some skips (mainly the Kendrick Lamar assisted "Good Flirts", where his verse derails the song into straight booty, literally), this album's highs are on par with the ones on The Melodic Blue, songs like the title track "CA$INO" and "Circus Circus Freestyle" bring some hard trap energy that Keem is usually known for ... read more

J. Cole - The Fall-Off

So this is probably the most excited I've ever been for an album in a while now... Usually, when I put standards so high for an album, it usually ends up kind of disappointing me, so I tried lowering them a little bit, but the roll-out was so great for this I couldn't help myself. However, I think it's safe to say all of my standards were met: this is a near-perfect album.

Ok, let's start with the negatives cause there isn't really a lot. For once, this is a double ... read more

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
75

So, we have officially started 2026's album run with A$AP Rocky's long awaited Don't Be Dumb. This album has been in the works for 5 years, so... Is it worth the wait? Short answer: no, it isn't. Long answer: It's a good album, I'm not saying it is, but it isn't five years long wait good, maybe with a shorter and clearer rollout this could've been recieved way better, but he kept delaying it to a point where standards were wayyy to high. So, let me tell ... read more

A$AP Rocky - HELICOPTER

Carti's an asshole for not clearing features, luckily his feature was ass so we won

21 Savage - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?
50

This should go in history as the most average album of all time. This is quite literaly the median of all rap albums ever made. In fact, it feels like the term "mid" was made specifically for this album. Perfect 5/10. What the fuck is Mr Recoup???????

Offset - KIARI
75

A solo Migos album that I actually really liked was not on my 2025 bingo. But hey, the beats are good, the verses are good, the features are good, I am surprised. THIS is the trap albums we want, not those Jackboys and UY Scuti BS.

Danny Brown - Stardust
85

This is probablly the most excited I've been for an album yet, after revealing the tracklist having features like Quadeca, Jane Remover, Underscores, Femtanyl and ISSBROKIE, I was stunned and hyped. The final result was a great showcase of talent coming from more underground hyperpop/ EDM artists and experimental rappers. While Danny has always had one foot in the experimental rap scene, seeing him change up his usual style for a more poppy and dance-y album was very welcome. His usual ... read more

Dave - The Boy Who Played the Harp
93

To be honest, I've never really been into UK rap or any rap outside of the US sphere, but the critics and users were gassing this album up so there had to be something of value in it... So I only really know Dave from a couple of his tracks on Psychodrama and his collab with Central Cee, so this album was actually a huge surprise for me, it's amazing.

The most impactful thing on this album is, of course, the lyrics. Vivid storytelling, some incredible introspection, detailing in ... read more

Ty Dolla $ign - TWITCH

Good club banger, but could've been improved if Tyga wasn't on it (or at least had a better verse)

Ty Dolla $ign - TYCOON
63

Don't Kill The Party is out, so that's a plus

But the album as a whole is just OK. None of the songs (except for the one with Kodak Black) are offensive, but few songs are actually great (only DKTP, December 31st and Twitch are actual standouts).

DIESEL - How Dare They

makes sense they had to use AI to show him in a good light

Young Thug - UY SCUTI

Honestly... This is embarrasing. 21 songs and yet i finished it without feeling nothing on it. Doesn't mean this album does not have bangers, but they're far and in between and they always come with a feature. Even the good solo songs are ruined by a weird gimmick he adds, like the hard r's in ninja or the AI vocals on Miss My Dogs.

The production is soooo boring, like most of these beats sound like Gunna throwaways, and knowing that he's just been out of jail I thought he ... read more
