Crazy how overlooked this is.

You can hear the britpop influences creeping in and i cant stand it. Such a disappointment

Single-handedly helped me realise lyrics aren't everything. He could of been reading some god's own poetry and i still wouldn't have enjoyed this thing. Where are the musical dynamics?

Like sure there's a specific lane this thing is going for and maybe it drives that lane well, but i cant in good conscious agree with the amount of bloated reviews in the modern context of music.

Yeah maybe it's because i can't project my entire life's woes onto this album like apparently some other people can, but this thing is only good, not great.

There are a couple of stand out tracks, but also a couple of skips (You cannot pay me to listen to Girl o'Clock again)

But I think what bugs me the most is that I've heard so much of this album already. Failure's 'Fantastic Planet' did so much of what this album tries to do. Different lyrical ... read more
