I will always sing the praises of this album. It’s criminally underrated. For pure black metal this is some of the best you will get. The vocals actually sound dark and satanic, a lot of the times I feel like the vocals in black metal don’t really sound all that evil. This here is an expecting, they are harsh and cold. It reminds me of a literal black mass, like you stumbling across something you should not have. Real ritual horror music.
I mean what is there to say about this record that hasn’t been said a billion times, it’s a damn classic for a reason. 2nd wave Norwegian black metal has many highs, bands such as Darkthrone,mayhem,immortal, burzum and ofc emperor. Out of all the bands I just named emperor I’ve always said sounding the most professional and ig crisp sounding. Holy fuck bro..for a black metal demo this is insanely impressive. Grausamkeits a band I have to get into more. Every demo/mixtape I’ve heard from him has been amazing. His story is also pretty wicked. The dungeon synth elements are what makes it stand out so much, it will beat u over the head with its harshness then transition almost seamlessly into beautiful dungeon synth. It truly is impressive what he was able to accomplish at such a young age.

I have always enjoyed music but the last few years I have been trying to get into music a lot more. Some of my favorite genres are rap and metal, especially black metal. Some of my fav artists are sematary, Darkthrone, future and chief keef
