Interesting album of instrumental ambient experimental indie - OK, it is hard to describe exactly what this is ;-) - but for me it reminds me of albums by artists like Low (Songs for a Dead Pilot), The Duruttti Column (LC), R. Stevie Moore (The North) - just listen and describe it yourself .....and pls let me know what you will compare it to
More value for History than for quality with current standards. Straight outta Compton and F''k the police are making this worth a listen but then you got 8+ more numbers......
Alomg with their debut this is some of the interesting not to polished synth pop. Dramatic, explicit and good songs from the dark side of love and life.
The original album is 8 songs and far better as an album than the expanded 12 song version mentioned on this page.
Based on trad folk and country and not so much rock. Still a few classic tunes though
The album is uneven - when it is best it is high class neo psych - and then some crazy experiments that just dont work
Heavy, Funk, Soul, prog mixed - and then these wonderful vocals - but miss their trademark strong melodies
Much better than its reputation - on several songs you can see the road to London Calling
