Thin Lizzy is tough as rhino skin and as brutal as bandits, but it's leavened by Lynott's light touch as a singer, which is almost seductive in its croon.

In his finest moment ... just before he was overtaken by the version of himself that had swelled in the spotlight, he and his boys managed to capture everything that’s beautiful and good about rock’n’roll, and none of its ugly truth.

While they may not be the most original 70's Hard Rock band, Irish Hard Rock legends Thin Lizzy for sure have their fair share of bangers, and their 6th studio album 'Jailbreak' is filled with some absolute bangers. I might be biased here because I have fond memories of my dad and I listening to some classic Thin Lizzy tunes on drives home from school but I really like a lot of what 'Jailbreak' had to offer. Thin Lizzy may not be the most original band, but Jailbreak has to be one of the best blues rock / hard rock albums out there. It's consistent, groovy, catchy, and can boast both phenomenal instrumentals and great vocals. Phil Lynott has an incredibly pleasant voice, in my opinion.
Jailbreak é um rock/soul que funciona se hoje em dia tiver percepção para apreciar, senão vai ser difícil entender o real som, como os vários sons que já vimos.
