really loved this album, the guitar work is incredible. the big walls of sound giving way to the very honest and tender vocals provide a nice texture. j mascis is that guy

i know its been said a million times, but its fuckin insane to me that this came out 30+ years ago... trent reznor was on some genius shit when he made this. there's such a strong sense of cohesion and flow to this album, like every song belongs exactly where it was put on the album and they all make each other better. i cant believe it took me this long to sit down and listen to this all the way through, absolute peak.
