Came back on this site just to say this is one of the most organic sounding emo albums I’ve heard in a while. I love when artists/bands make you feel like you’re actually in the studio with them it’s just comforting to me
Pretty sweet and sour for what it is and I love the acoustic sound. Just wish I found the band before the incident with eric happened but other than that it’s lovely with some heavy feels
Three singles and I can already tell this is gonna be aoty
It’s practically perfect. THIS is what the rap game needs nowadays. Saba speaks his truth with a catchy flow on some jazzy but bouncy instrumentals. You can clearly hear what he’s preaching throughout the whole album and there wasn’t a second where I felt I got ripped off even a second of my time. Also not to glaze but that Chance feature made me wet
The human imagination is purgatory on its own
A lovely but jiggy album that sounds like it was written by an oblivious elementary schooler in some parts. With the exception of some deep ass storytelling it’s just nice sounding overall
I don’t know why but this sounds like what a strawberry flavored vape would taste like.
I like the goofiness it strays away from some of the deep and edgy music nowadays, at least if you don’t look into the lyrics too hard
Man I wish all the other songs hit the same as the big three, but still a timeless Indietronica album. Great amount of nostalgia to send you back to better times
The alchemist’s production is phenomenal as always but the rapping is kind of questionable (that mountain dew line…)
Words can’t express how this album made me feel, but I definitely feel something
After a long ass rollout we finally finished the trilogy!! On my first listen It sounded cool and definitely feels kind of stretched out, but knowing it’s POSSIBLY his last album I see it as a lil gift. It blends sounds from the last two projects while finalizing them a bit and adding its own touch. I liked it even though I prefer After Hours or Dawn FM
Blew tf out my mind and I love it
The only other thing I’ve listened to from Kero Kero Bonito before this was their single “Flamingo” which was forever ago, so blindly hearing how much their style changed years later was so unexpected but also satisfying
Nice album to just sit somewhere and ponder to. Of course it has the authentic loud and grainy shoegaze sound except now the “LSD” part comes into play with the almost dreamy aspects (mostly being the drone)
Finally able to listen to this after not finding it anywhere online... Just as deep and mind boggling as I expected from his faces era. Even if this is his last release I’m glad to have more of his music to cherish
I felt like an anime protagonist listening to this. Everything feels so pretty and hits hard at the same time
The overall theme is fitting with the dark and ambient tone of the instrumentals. I don’t know that much about Ethel’s background but I feel like the meaning behind the album goes much further than just her character, especially with topics like sexual pleasure and human desires, it speaks more realistically. Definitely not for everybody but it’s a cool(depressing) listen
