Alright, alright, let’s get this out of the way, the most defining thing about this album is the very blunt lyrics, and it’s definitely not for everyone. You can easily get put off from the “edgy, tryhard, woe is me, self loathing” lyrics. But I want a retrial.

My first time listening to The Look felt like discovering crack for the first time again. Something was so magical about it, like I started to believe in disney-like love. This is why you don’t skip out on random YouTube recommendations.

As someone who fairly enjoyed Melophobia, this album honestly disappointed me. Now to be clear, there are a lot of good songs on this album, but that doesn’t help the plethora of songs which were fairly forgettable, generic, or overly repetitive. But hey, at least listening through it all was fun.
