I’m sorry I love KRIT but this all sounds so cheap, he’s phoning it in so hard on this record aside from a few good moments.
I was looking forward to listening to this considering all the hype around it, but the only thing worthwhile on this project for me was the vocalist who’s incredible, but the instrumentation doesn’t do enough to really back her up.
Idk I think some of the alchemists beats on here are good but yeah a lot of them are pretty eh. Billy and Elucid tho are still beyond impressive here.

I’m still really struggling to understand the praise that Dave receives. On this album in particular I found the beats and production to be so uninteresting and bare bones, which I do think is a stylistic choice, but it just doesn't work most of the time. I think it was implemented to help shift the focus all towards Dave’s lyrics, but the problem is…I don’t think Dave is that great of a lyricist. Had been putting this off cause I expected it to be some Tiktok slop, but no. It actually has some pretty fun grooves and catchy melodies here and there.
Easily the lowest point in Taylor’s career; artistically, sonically, and morally.
Just became my most listened to album. Let’s just say I’ve been addicted.
