even as a certified drake meat muncher i cant get into this bro. i don't hate the idea of one rapping album, one RnB album, and one club album, but Drake has the talent to make much better club and RnB albums than Maid of Honour and Habibti. most of it feels gimmicky and annoying. Certified Lover Boy might be the biggest vibe any Drake album has. Nobody comes close to beating him in that late night moody style, and this album has a lot of great tracks for that. There are some songs where it might be mid if you're playing it in the wrong setting but is amazing for a late night. Toxicity by System of a Down starts with some of the most awful, obnoxious noise I've heard, morphs into something somewhat tolerable, and reaches by far its highest point at Aerials, which is probably the only track worth revisiting. Inconsistent and overrated.

I wonder how they went from recording this mostly mid album to the greatest album of all time in the same year.
While all the songs individually are okay, with the exception of The Long and Winding Road and Let It Be being incredible, they just don't feel like they fit together all too well. Nevertheless, it is still a Beatles album.

Nothing's About to Happen to Me demonstrates Mitski's ability to write some nice lyrics but not much else. A few of these tracks show a critical misunderstanding of how music should build and release energy, as it can feel like nothing is driving the song forward. An incredible collection of some of Juice's best work. All the production is great, the hooks are catchy, and the vocals, while sometimes abrasive and over auto-tuned, are good as well. The lyrical content is solid and especially impressive when you consider the fact that Juice basically freestyled all of these. Do wish he cut down a bit on the vulgar sexuality, though. Overall just a great vibe and definitely the best emo rap album I can think of.

There are a few dull moments like Good Morning Good Morning, making this a naturally overrated album, but you can't complain too much. Pretty good album with some nice highlights and production. It's cool to see someone like fakemink doing a sort of concept album here, following the storyline of Dante's Inferno. The spoken word parts seemed pretty unnecessary though and I really wish fakemink had rapped over the instrumental from Etna instead. Some instrumentals feeling over distorted and vocals that were repetitive at times lost this album some points but it's still solid.
