One of the best rappers alive giving us a series of expectantly awesome performances throughout his half, plus one of the best newer rappers that blew up this decade giving us some equally great performances on his half, plus ridiculous production from a group that's filled with some of the best and most interesting producers in modern trap equals my favorite rap album of 2026 so far.
This is what people thought Sabrina Carpenter was doing with the cover for her new album, but a thousand times worse.
I knew that Miley had the potential to make a masterpiece, and with this album, she finally reaches that potential.
A fantastic conclusion to the fantastic career and arc of one of my favorite artists of all time.
A very disappointing, unfinished, sauceless, boring slog that is a horrible send off for someone who was one of the best and most unique and influential producers of the past decade, and who made one of the best, and most exciting albums that I've ever heard. If you haven't listened to SOPHIE before, don't even think of bothering with this, and go listen to Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-insides instead.
I would genuinely, unironically rather listen to Ty Dolla $ign's XXL freshman list freestyle on a loop for 24 hours straight than to ever hear this again. My goat, Kanye, is in his witness era, and it's very sad to see, or, in this case, hear.
OH MY GOD, KENDRICK ACTUALLY CALLED DRAKE A PEDOPHILE OVER A JAZZ BEAT 😭
10/10. Song of the year.
A Brief Inquiry Into Online relationships is a surprisingly amazing album that is great look at the culture of the modern world, especially the internet, how we interact with it, and how it affects the relationships that people have with other people, as well as the issues that people in the modern world were facing at the time this album was released, and are still facing now, and it's also a very catchy and beautiful sounding album too.
While I still would've preferred if Utopia won best rap album instead of this, this is still an absolutely incredible album, and I'm very happy that Killer Mike is finally getting the recognition that he has been deserving for almost a decade.
I already thought that the music was by far the worst thing about DAVE, which is the surprisingly awesome show that this unfortunately serves as the soundtrack for, so I already didn't really have very high expectations for this in the first place, but OH MY GOD, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS TO STILL BE AS HORRIBLE AND PAINFUL TO GET THROUGH AS IT IS.
This isn't 21 Savage's best and I am starting to agree with what people have been saying about how it's starting to sound like he sounds the same on every song, but, this is still a pretty solid album from him.
This sounds like the music is beating the shit out of you, and not even in a good way either. Horrible sounding, obnoxious garbage from beginning to end.
Danny Brown has officially become the first artist to drop two album of the year contenders in the same year.
