November 10th, 2023 will be fondly remembered as the day where our queen, Ms. PinkPantheress, saved music.
Danny is gonna end up becoming the first artist to drop two album of the year candidates in the same year.
For the first time in ever, I actually kind of agree with a Pitchfork review.
We are currently living in a universe where Olivia Rodrigo and Lil Yachty are out here making better rock music than Avenged Sevenfold and Muse, and I find that to be hilarious.
This is cool and catchy, but this sounds exactly like something that could be a leftover for Planet Her, so I don't know why she was calling her old albums cash grabs, calling the people who liked those albums dumb, and hyping up how this new album is going to be a lot different from her previous music, how she was going to really be rapping on this, and how this is going to be a real rap album that's going to make people see that she's a real rapper.
Edit: It grew on me.
"Are you ready for your rap lessons?"
*Kanye West gulps*
*Kendrick Lamar breathes heavily*
*Eminem nods nervously*
*Freddie Gibbs sighs*
"Yes, Denzel Curry", they say in unison
This is the best rock song cover that was done by someone who usually doesn't make rock music of all time, and I need a full Denzel Curry rock album right the fuck now.
I wonder if there's an alternate universe where this album officially came out...
I can't speak Spanish, but I'm 100 percent sure that this is garbage in every language.
This is pretty good, and I love some of the songs on here, especially "Hummingbird", but compared to most of Metro's other projects, this was just okay, which should've been expected since this was just a movie soundtrack. Sure, it's a soundtrack for a movie that, according to Twitter, is apparently peak fiction, but it's still a soundtrack nonetheless.
Edit: I finally saw the movie. Everyone was right, it's peak fiction. 10/10 movie.
