Fear Before The March Of Flames - Odd How People Shake
80

FBTMOF are like the most 2000s band ever sound-wise, and yet they still pull it off very well.

I love how seamlessly the band blends these weird guitar lines and throat-shredding screams with very melancholic melodies. There's an attention to detail on this whole record that you don't really find in a lot of bands of this nature.

City of Caterpillar - City of Caterpillar
90

I love screamo

I love post-rock

I live in Virginia

I love City of Caterpillar

Adrianne Lenker - Bright Future
90

ADRIANNE ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME???

The Sawtooth Grin - Jabberwocky
90

HOW DO THEY STILL GO THIS HARD

These Arms Are Snakes - Oxeneers or the Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home
80

The only thing I knew prior about These Arms Are Snakes is that Botch’s bassist was in it, but goddamn, this is some really good sass

Deafheaven - Infinite Granite
60

I mean, it's very pretty and well produced, but aside from the occasional heavy breakdowns with the return of Clarke's screams, this is pretty boilerplate shoegaze.

Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine
60

The first half of this album is relatively strong, but it falls flat on its face in the second half. It’s almost impressive how there’s still a handful of filler despite this being Ariana’s shortest record

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
100

HOLY SHIT THIS ALBUM IS 30

Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want
100

As incredible as this album is, knowing what Alexis Marshall has done, the lyrics feel like nothing more than slam poetry written by an abuser trying to justify himself.

Lightning Bolt - Sonic Citadel
80

Is that a melody? SELLOUTS!!!1!1!1!1!1!!1!!!1!!!

twenty one pilots - Overcompensate
80

WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK

TOOL - Lateralus
80

This album uses math

I hate math

Therefore, I hate this album

The Chisel - What A Fucking Nightmare
70

A faithful revival of oldschool punk that goes hard af.

Deaf Club - Productive Disruption
70

I'm biased as hell but I am incapable of hating anything fronted by Justin Pearson. The dude is in his late 40s and is still able to make noisy, panicked powerviolence with a sassy edge. It's not Locust level but still solid.

Chelsea Wolfe - She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She
80

This album sounds like if Portishead had more industrial influences. I kinda love it tbh

The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes
90

They are allergic to missing

Lightning Bolt - Wonderful Rainbow
90

The sounds that Brian Gibson can create with his bass are still mindblowing to this day. Incredible record

Jeromes Dream - Presents
70

Sounds like if Lightning Bolt had a guitarist. Might be my second favorite Jeromes Dream album.
