A mixed bag for me. Whilst it's wonderful to hear The The return, not everything stuck for me on this one. I do admire it's consistently ominous tone, the groovy vibes and Matt Johnson's vocal style. At it's best moments it's a solid throwback to The The's better work (In a positive way) but at it's worst, a tad hollow.
The The at their worst are still respectfully ambitious.

This is Simz at her very best.
The bassy beats, the raw and exceptionally sincere energy, and phenomenal production. Also the collaborations with Chronixx, Little Dragon, Cleo Sol, Michael Kiwanuka, It all just simply works and I never get tired of blasting this record out to full volume.
Absolute banger.
Therapy, Offence, Wounds, Pressure, Venom, Selfish and Flowers are among my fav tracks.

Track 4 - I might say something stupid.
"...I might say something stupid...
Talk to myself in the mirror..."
I'm in this song and I don't like it. Hence, best track on the album.
